LEAGUE CITY, Texas, Apr 21, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ERF Wireless (OTCBB:ERFW), a leading provider of enterprise-class wireless broadband products and services, announced today that Mike Jones, a member of ERF Wireless' Board of Directors, has accepted a full-time position with the company as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). A 30-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Jones joined the ERF Wireless Board of Directors in February of 2008. In addition to providing ERF Wireless guidance for the past year as a member of the board, Jones has also served as a consultant to the company on a number of technology and management issues. As the chief architect for the development and implementation of the company's technology, one of his primary responsibilities will be providing technical guidance as the company implements WiMAX wireless solutions throughout its existing networks as well as new networks that are acquired or constructed.
